Reminders of home is a bit of a goldmine for this as it opens up to a chain of harmless quests where you run around and talk to a bunch of people.Īfter finishing what I could there I moved on to Azure watch in Azuremyst Isle and was able to do the totem quests there, There was also a talk to someone at exodar quest which I did before heading to Bloodmyst. There I found "A troubling Breeze" and "Reminders of Home" both good for pacifist. That one did not have a follow up and all others were grey there at level 9 so moved on to Dolanaarr. There was one quest there " The last wave of survivors which was easy enough with other people in the area killing mobs for other quests. Turned in Elmores task and went to follow that quest chain to its end then moved on to Darkshore. So this morning working on Level 9 - 10.5:
#The forest pacifist update#
I will update when I can with what I find along the way if this continues to be successful so that others who are doing this challenge may use some of what I have encountered and found to help them on the way =) sounds like a perfect quest for this toon though. I have a quest to go to Westfall and elmores task which I often refuse on regular toons as it is just travelling across the world to talk to someone. So this is where I am at level 9 now hoping to be level 10 tonight. Two at Gol Bolar Quarry that were to pick up gems and to hand out Hearthstones to trapped miners, again when it was busy and others had already killed mobs. I also went to Dun Morough (Sp?) and was able to do 4 quests there at level 7, two at thelsamar that required picking things up off the ground. Stormwind has a few run around quests, the wine store and tailor shop ones are great. Goldshire is great as it has a few explore quests to do early on, (explore Janglode and Jasperlode mines) and the Maybelle - Tommy love story has three you can do before they ask you to kill anyone.Įastvale Logging camp has the picking up wood quest and hunt for the missing guards quests. There are no quests I have found in starting areas that are do-able for the pacifist.

Soo what I have learned so far, Valentines quests are great for getting started pre level 5, starting a night elf is useful as one of the early quests in dolanar is The Emerald Dreamcatcher and I just waited for someone else to kill the mobs and I ran in and grabbed it, this quest gave me a silver to buy professions early and to travel to Elwynn Forest to continue in an area I was relatively familiar with. On my third try now and I am level 9 now. Second one I did a quest that I thought was safe for the pacifist challenge and saw that it actually ended up registering I had killed something when I actually had not killed anything. First one was killed at level 4 by a lag that booted me out and when I re-logged something had killed me. I am almost level 10 now and this is my third go in the last three days. I thought I would start a current thread with some of the stuff I am finding helpful in case anyone else is looking and trying to find suggestions. If you run out of drinks+snacks, just exit to the Main Menu and load the last save to reload the consumables inside the cave.Īfter that, it’s just a matter of waiting for 10 days to pa*s ( which is actually the most boring part of this achievement). So I am trying the Ironman Pacifist challenge and was fairly surprised by how little there is in these forums about it. Your character should go near dehidration and starvation every day, but since you go to sleep, he won’t actually die or take damage and you’ll just have to pop the snacks and alcohol to have him back to max. Just go inside, wait for the sky to go dark, Sleep, refill your Hunger and Thirst meters and go back towards the entrace to see when the sun will go down again, then repeat.

#The forest pacifist how to#
Just a quick description on how to do the Achievement despite it being still buggy without having to resort to Pacifist Mode or Co-Op.Ĭonsidering staying on the surface doesn’t really work for the achievement (mostly because the groups of cannibals running around the map might glitch through the map and die, having the game register you’ve actually killed them), I’ve found the best strategy to bypa*s the problem is by spending the 10 days required for the achievement inside a cave.īest one is Cave 6 (aka Lawyer Cave, the one next to the cargo containers, West of the Sinkhole), since it provides you a tent where you can Sleep and Save, 3 bottles of alcohol (to refill your thirst meter) and 3 snacks (to refill your hunger meter) near to where the tent is.
